Fun In San Diego
Experience San Diego with exciting activities during the second day of Star’s National Sales Meeting. Tour an aircraft carrier, see a little of the wildlife, take a walk through history or a stroll through lush golf greens, we’ve got something for everyone.
USS Midway Tour: $45 per person
Spend time touring one of America’s most historic aircraft carrier. Commissioned in 1945, the 1,001 foot USS Midway served during the Korean War, Vietnam, and the Persian Gulf, as well as served as the naval flagship during Operation Desert Storm. The lead ship of her class, she was the first aircraft carrier built that was too large to pass through the Panama Canal.
Historic Old Town Walking Tour: $40 per person
Walk through life in the Mexican and early American periods of 1821 to 1872. Called the Birthplace of California, Old Town San Diego State Historic Park has 37 historic buildings demonstrating the early pueblo period, including The Whaley House Museum Complex that includes the famous Thomas Whaley House, considered the most haunted house in America.
An Afternoon at the San Diego Zoo: $75 per person
At the World-Famous San Diego Zoo, see a world-class collection of fascinating exhibits with rarely seen animals and experience microhabitats like the Gorilla Tropics, Tiger River, Ituri Forest, and Polar Bear Plunge. The afternoon includes a 40-minute double decker bus tour and the Sky-fari aerial tram ride.
Golf at Eastlake Country Club: $97 per person
Enjoy South Bay’s premiere golf destination EastLake Country Club and try your hand at the 18-hole course designed by par 72 Ted Robinson. With colorful forgiving fairways of bluegrass and a beautiful view of nearby Mt. Miguel, the course challenges include six lakes, three with waterfalls, 72 sand traps, and well-manicured bent grass greens.
