Star Buildings Systems (part of Cornerstone Building Brands) inducted two members of its Authorized Builder Network into the inaugural Star Hall of Fame class at a celebration at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. An intimate group of 30 guests attended the dinner and induction ceremony, which included the presentation of the Star-branded Hall of Fame jackets. 

“We consider this designation our highest honor and have reserved it for tenured, top-performing builder partners, who are model ambassadors of the Star brand,” said Matt Ackley, President of Commercial Solutions at Cornerstone Building Brands. 

Art Kuehler, President of HASTCO Construction in Topeka, Kansas, and Mike Greer, President of G&W Builders Inc. in Brea, California, became the first inductees into the program. Both Mike and Art are seasoned construction professionals with approximately 40 years of industry experience each. Both are longtime Authorized Builders and have also been members of Star’s President’s Advisory Council, where they served as the voice of the customer for their respective regions.  

Star’s Hall of Fame program was designed to recognize exceptional builder partners who exemplify Star’s core values and are invested in the betterment and growth of the brand. Candidates are evaluated and selected by an internal committee consisting of Star employees representing various functions throughout the organization.
