Started in the family pre-engineered construction business representing Ceco at a very young age.

Describe your day-to-day operations of a Star District Manager:

Most days are spent traveling or in the home office; looking for new builders to join our Star team, training & assisting builders with our SBS pricing software, and staying in touch with my current Star builders.

What is something unusual that you’ve seen in the field?

Erection of a metal building over, through & around an existing full-service 24-hour restaurant/truck stop that never closed.

What are the most common questions you receive from Star Builders in your region?

Can you take a quick look at this one to make sure I have entered the best design? What is the best approach to add on to this existing pre-engineered building?

What’s the best thing about being a Star District Manager?

Being able to represent such a highly respected brand to setting my own schedule to manage the district following the ebb & flow of the typical construction season.

What is one piece of advice you would give to Star Builders?

If I can only offer one piece of advice it would have to be “go to basic builder school if possible, the time spent will pay you back ten-fold”.

Having a project win our annual “Master Builder” award.

Spending time with the grandkids, running, & playing golf.
